Harburg-Hamburg: - Ninamma Rai has announced her candidacy for the chairmanship of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Germany. Rai has announced her candidacy for the post with an eight-point action plan.
If Rai leads the association, she will set up an emergency service fund within the association, work for female students and professionals in Germany, promote Nepali art, culture and natural beauty, conduct Nepali language classes, conduct a motherland philanthropic campaign, and establish a Nepal Center. She has put forward programs such as distributing and renewing membership, helping Nepalis living in Germany in their happiness and sorrow.
She has been active in the formal structure of the Non-Resident Nepali Association since 2009. Rai said that his candidature was natural and a result of continuity in the union. She says, ‘I understand all kinds of problems, joys and sorrows of non-resident Nepalis in Germany. That's why I believe I can work in their interest. '
She is confident that she will play an effective role in the campaign to connect Nepalis of Germany with the country. She says, "I will work not only in the campaigns inside Germany but also as a bridge to connect Nepalis here with Nepal."
Even while living in Nepal, she was consciously involved in political and social campaigns. Rai's family, who is also the granddaughter of Ram Prasad Rai, the freedom fighter of the 2007 revolution, is active in the movement for change. Along with the NRNA campaign, he has also played a role in various social movements and support.
She understands that it will be easier not only because she is connected with her family but also because she has contacts and relations with the concerned bodies of Nepal. "My role in the campaign to connect the country will be equally effective."
Rai has served as NRNA Germany's LCC in 2011-2013 as Women's Co-Coordinator, 2013-2015 as Women's Coordinator, 2015-2017 as Treasurer, 2017-2019 as Treasurer and 2019-2021 as Vice President. Union elections are being held on July 31.
Best Wish for her...for the chairmanship of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Germany.
