Scene after the victory and conversation with Gagan Thapa

Congratulations to the two new faces in the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress for winning the post of General Secretary by a huge margin of votes.  He said that after his victory, the Congress would be a clean and modern modern Congress.  He said that the leadership demanded by the youth

 and the party has got the general secretary. He said that Deuba had become the prime minister in the second round of elections due to the closed-door setting.  Thoughts were different. In the first round, Deuba had to get 2340 votes out of 4679 votes to be elected. But in the first round, Deuba got 2258 votes.  Sekhar had sought only 1702 votes in the by-elections.

Polling stations of the Nepali Congress have been fixed at the National Assembly House and Nepal Police Center. Though 548 candidates had registered for 134 seats including 13 candidates, 61 withdrew their candidacies. At present, there are 499 candidates in the fray.  Acharya, Sujata Koirala, Dr. Chandra Bhandari, Dharma Raj Gurung and Dipendra Sah.  For Kamala Pant, Dina Mahalakshmi Upadhyay, Man B Biswakarma on behalf of a Jana Dalit, Jeevan Pariyar, Ganga Sunar, Bikas Lama on behalf of Adivasi Janajati, Hikmat Raj, Debraj Chalise on behalf of Khas Arya, Kishore Singh Rathore, Ramkrishna Yadav on behalf of Madesi, Mahendra Yadav,  On the Muslim side, Furmala Munsur, Sheikh Vakil, Tharu Teju Lal Chaudhary, Umakanta Chaudhary, Buddhi Prasad Pandey, Jeevan Sahi and Chetraj Rijal are from the backward areas.

Yubaraj Neupane withdrew his nomination after the agreement was reached. After that, Ser Bahadur Deuba, Shikhar Koirala, Bimalendra Nidhi, Kalyan Gurung and Prakasman Singh have been nominated for the post of President.  In case of victory, the opposition will not allow the loser to do what he can do. If he loses, the leadership of others will ruin the country. He said that he has to win.  The party is sure to win. The Nepali Congress has a total of 4743 votes. Shikhar Koirala has got 1200 votes while Bimlender Nidhi has got 500 votes.  Decisions are said to play a role.

While the 14th Mahadibesan of the Nepali Congress was being held at Bhrikuti Mandap, the leaders had different views while registering their nominations.  Leaders and activists were holding leaflets and pamphlets in the election campaign. Some were running for their nominee registration.  He said that it was good to bring good representatives. He said that new faces would be created in the competition among the leaders to create a dialogue to correct the mistakes made by the leaders. He said that the more democratic the competition, the better.

Biswaprakash Sarma and Gagan Thapa, two greedy leaders in the minds of the Nepali people, have registered their candidacies for the same post.  I have nominated Rogi Ropi Pujagari for the post of General Secretary as I have nominated him for the post of General Secretary.  He said that Sekhar Koirala was suitable. If he loses, he will remain an ordinary member of the Nepali Congress.
