After examining every point of the MCC, they have prepared a demand letter to dismiss it. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been seen playing a key role in bringing MCC to Nepal. Although Deuba signed the agreement at that time, other parties could not get the MCC passed by the parliamentarians due to lack of support. The MCC was not allowed to pass when the government was led by CPN-UML Chairman Cape Polly. But a few days ago, after Oli’s leadership collapsed and Deuba became the Prime Minister, there has been a lot of talk about MCC. Many have even started commenting that Deuba was made the prime minister just to get the MCC passed. In addition, there are rumors that some people from the country and abroad are planning to pass the MCC from the House of Nepal.

According to social activist Gyanendra Shahi, US troops have been deployed in Deuba’s constituency with US military personnel. He is of the view that it is not appropriate to allow foreign troops to come to Nepal in this way. Since the law has been made to get anything passed by the parliamentarians, the MCC has also been tried to present it as a law. The law will be governed by the United States. The MCC has already been submitted to the Parliament of Nepal and was signed by Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.

Police have intervened when a group including Gyanendra Shahi tried to register the demand. Normally, when they tried to go to Singha Durbar, the security personnel grabbed their hands. After the police, protests against the sound of wrinkled the crowd. Gyanendra Shahi had chanted slogans saying that the treacherous MCC must be registered in the parliament.
