Hamas-IDF Street Battles, First Full Israeli Reserve Division Fighting in Gaza Since Lebanon War

Israeli announced the death of a soldier from Jerusalem who was killed in combat in the Gaza Strip on November 8. Hamas armed military's wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, released a video purportedly showing close battles with Israeli forces on the streets of Gaza. At least 12 “pro-Iran fighters” were killed in separate Israeli and US strikes on Syria on November 9. 

Egypt has reportedly rejected America’s proposal to manage Gaza’s security until the Palestinian Authority is prepared to take over.
