Israeli forces end two-day operation in Jenin -

Israel's two-day operation in the Jenin area of the occupied West Bank has now ended.
"The operation is officially over and the soldiers have left the Jenin area," a military spokesman told the BBC. Twelve Palestinians and one Israeli soldier have been killed since Monday. Israel's military described it as a "counter-terrorism operation", while the Palestinian foreign ministry said it was an "open war against the people of Jenin".
