Following the lawyers’ debate in the Tanahu District Court on Thursday, a bench of Justice Harris Chandra Dhungana remanded Paul Sah in custody for trial and released his manager Krishna Joshi on Rs 1 lakh bail. Twelve lawyers argued on behalf of Paul Sah and six on behalf of the plaintiffs. Although Paul Sah admitted to getting married when he reached old age, he said that he did not commit rape.
Ram Chandra Poudel, Bipin Ram Tiwari, Sibaraj Kafle, Mohana Ansari, Radhika Khatiwada, Kishore Sapkota, Teknarayan Gautam, Sarita Tiwari, Birodh Prasad Lamichhane and Sibaraj Kafle along with the government prosecutor. Along with the lawyers, there are 12 lawyers including Yudhnath Khanal, Kamal Mohan Wagle, Love Mainali, Yagya Rana and Parasuram Giri. Paul Sah, known as the king of Nepali music videos and equally popular in the film industry, has been embroiled in controversy for some time now. Five more days have been spent on research on Sah.
Durgesh Thapa and Saroj Oli, who work very closely with Paul Sah, have also given statements against Paul Sah. Durgesh Thapa said that when we went to Chitwan to shoot a music video, the victim forced him to marry her at the same time. He said that after being told that he had worked and that the victim had caused him a lot of stress, he advised him to go through the legal process.
