The open sky over Denmark was signaling the approaching summer on Sunday morning (April 25, 2021) The wind was blowing hard and The day was sunny but That sunny and bright day brought a darkness for Nepalese. The whole Nepali community in Denmark became emotional.
He was the coordinator of the International Nepali Artists Society (INAS) Europe and the coordinator of the Global Dance Promotion Committee. He continued to lead the promotion of art, culture and dance throughout Nepal. Directed 2/4 music videos. Choreographed more than a dozen songs. Hundreds of songs were sung. As the founding president of Denmark, INAS tied Nepalis to the ropes of Nepali art, culture and dance.
Not only the Nepali embassy, NRNA, Inas and other organizations but also the culture or dance reflecting Nepal in the foreign arena, the team led by the saint was present in the forefront. And, in one day, everything has changed. There will no longer be a smiling and enthusiastic face of a saint on the European stage tomorrow. Her magical dance will not be seen. Audiences eager to see her dance again will not say "Once more saint".
His life partner Mallika Pradhan, who dances with him, will be alone. I don’t know, without Santa, now she will bend her hips on the stage! A 5-year-old daughter has lost her beloved father.
Gentlemen will no longer appear at Nepali gatherings with sweet smiles. Saint, let’s do this, let’s do that, the Nepali people of Europe have lost a dear man who never said no and never said no.
(Saint & Mallika Pradhan), a saint from Machhegaun, Kathmandu, came to Denmark in 2010 on a green card visa. While dancing, Saint and Mallika Pradhan got married in Nepal. While struggling in Denmark, they blended into Nepali society. In a short time, Inas was formed under his leadership.
Initially, the Nepali Jana Pragatisheel Manch (NPPF) taught young people to dance to Nepali songs by asking for cultural costumes in Denmark. Made a fast team.
In a short period of time, a relatively small number of Nepalis made a great cultural team in Denmark. He also excelled in various forums in Europe. After being the president of Inas twice, he was elected as the coordinator of Europe. They planned to make a good impression across Europe.
The Corona epidemic began. Everything worked out. Life went on like this. Last October, a terrible storm came in his life, which saved him from the material world on Sunday. She was diagnosed with blood cancer in October. The treatment started. Self-confidence was also strengthened. Burn Marrow underwent an operation in March. Couldn\"t succeed as expected. He died at the age of 41 while undergoing treatment. His body is being prepared to be taken to Nepal for burial.
"Sometimes there are such curtains, I will get well soon," Sant Kumar Thapa Magar\"s message came in the messenger a few weeks ago. He said that he would get better soon. He also wished for a speedy recovery. My ears were eager to hear the news of healing. But, on hearing the opposite news, it was like having a nightmare. I was shocked when it was proved to be true!
Saint and Mallika were famous for their skillful dancing. They were sought after in every cultural program. My plan was to tell a story about this couple who are spreading magic through dance talent. But, what an irony to have to write Abichuri today! How cruel the time has become, it is difficult to control my mind! Nepali community is emotional!
The Nepali community was shocked at the death of Nepali community leader Bishnu Poudel in 2017 due to a brain tumor. Now the saints wept in the same way.
"Now you have to do great work in Nepali art and dance. You also do a lot for Inas," Santa had a dream with his close friend singer Rajman Tamang. Tamang said that he was in a lot of pain.
Saints have taught dozens of young people and children in Denmark to dance. Due to which, those artists have even reached a very big stage. "I will never forget her (saint’s) contribution in making my nanny, who does not know how to dance, competitive in the international arena," said Anju Parajuli, vice president of NRNA Denmark.
Mahendra Khadka, another engineer of the Nepali community, said that he will always live in the memory of the saint who is always active in social work. "If there is a Nepali in Denmark who is so sincere and good, he would be a saint," said Khadka, one of the leaders of MMS Events.
Pushpa Baruwal, a resident of the Netherlands, the founder and former president of Inas, wrote on Facebook, "Your contribution to the promotion of Nepali art and culture will be remembered forever." You are in our minds. You are indelible in our memory. Always, as long as we exist. As long as Enas exists, you will be immortal. Your contribution will be immortal. "
Social organizations in different countries of Europe, NRNA, Inas of different countries, organizations related to art and culture and individuals have expressed deep sorrow over his demise.
Ganga Bhushal, General Secretary of the Nepali People’s Progressive Forum (NPPF) Europe, who lives in Spain, said that the demise of the saint had caused irreparable damage to the Nepali community. Navin Timilsina, an engineer from Portugal who lives with many Nepalis, remembers the first time he worked with a saint in the field of art.
Journalist Prakash Sapkota has written on social media, "Only good people can be affected by a big disease" To leave a good impression in the society in a short time! What kind of destiny is this? I am shocked by the news that a promising Nepali genius from Denmark, who not only devoted himself to the upliftment of Nepali art and culture in exile, but also worked hard to organize others and pass it on to the new generation, lost his material life at a young age."
