Kathmandu: One-on-one talks have been held between KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the two presidents of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).
The three-hour-long talks at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar were positive, said Bishnu Sapkota, Press Advisor to Chairman Prachanda. He informed that the two presidents would resume talks on Wednesday morning. A meeting of the CPN (Maoist) Standing Committee is being held in Baluwatar tomorrow at 11 am.
Before that, there will be a discussion between the two presidents. The members of the president's secretariat are confident that the two presidents, who have been active in resolving the dispute within the party, will reach an agreement by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, members of the secretariat said that the meeting of the four leaders who were given the responsibility to assist the two chairpersons was also being held internally.
