Kathmandu, President Vidyadevi Bhandari has concluded the budget session of the federal parliament. She informed the federal parliament that the convention ended at 5 pm on Thursday as per the recommendation of the cabinet.
Earlier, a cabinet meeting held on Thursday had recommended ending the session of the federal parliament.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister looked at the Law Minister Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahangphe. Is there any business in the Parliament? Were questioned. After Minister Tumbahamphe said that there was a dispute in the Citizenship and Civil Service Bill and nothing else, the Prime Minister announced the decision to end the Parliament session from 5 pm today.
Before the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Oli had a meeting with President Bhandari.
This session of the parliament, which started on April 10, was to decide on the bill related to citizenship and civil service as well as the MCC agreement.
The budget convention, which began amid the Corona epidemic, has passed the government's policies, programs and budget. Besides, some bills have also been passed.
