Kathmandu: 118 people, including 28, have been infected with corona in Kathmandu district. In a press conference organized by the Ministry of Health and Population on Friday, 28 people were confirmed infected in Kathmandu, 13 in Lalitpur and one in Bhaktapur in the last 24 hours.
Ministry spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam informed that 118 people have been confirmed infected in 24 hours across the country including 42 in the Kathmandu Valley. As of Friday, 16,649 people have been infected with corona in Nepal.
According to spokesperson Gautam, 120 infected people have recovered and returned home in the same period. With this, the number of those who have recovered has reached 8 thousand 11.
Among those infected are 28 from Kathadmau, 13 from Lalitpur, 11 from Surkhet, 6 from Gulmi, 2 from Ilam, 2 from Panchthar, 2 from Siraha, 4 from Dhanusha, 4 from Mahottari, 1 from Rasuwa, 1 from Doti, 1 from Chitwan, 1 from Banke, 1 from Bhaktapur, 2 from Kavrepalanchok and 1 from Ramechhap. 1 from Rautahat, 1 from Sindhuli, 1 from Sindhupalchowk, 4 from Palpa, 1 from Rupandehi, 1 from Makwapur, 1 from Dhading, 1 from Kailali, 2 from Baglung, 8 from Tanahun, 8 from Gorkha, 2 from Nawalparasi, 1 from Bajura, 1 from Dailekh and 1 from Dolpa Are They.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, another 120 people have been cured in 24 hours. Along with this, the number of those who have recovered so far has reached 8,011. According to the ministry, 275,951 tests have been done by PCR method till Friday and 4,806 tests have been done in 24 hours.
So far, the number of people in quarantine is 23,910. Similarly, the number of people living in isolation is 8 thousand 603 people.
