Surkhet. In the last 24 hours, 47 people have been infected with Corona virus (Covid-19) in Karnali.

Tests at the Karnali Provincial Hospital in Surkhet, the Veterinary Disease Investigation Laboratory and the laboratory in Chaurjahari Municipality in Rukum West confirmed corona infection in 47 more people on Monday.

According to the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Social Affairs, 41 of the newly infected people are from Surkhet, two each from Rukum West and Dailekh and one each from Jajarkot and Banke.

There are 20 people including 4 women in Birendranagar municipality of Surkhet alone and 21 people including 6 women in Simta village municipality.

Similarly, two men from Ranivheri Gaonpalika-3 of Rukum West, 11-year-old girl from Dailekh-28 Municipality and 35-year-old man from Narayan Municipality, one man each from Bheri Municipality-7 of Jajarkot and one man each from Sitapur-4 of Banke have been confirmed infected. At the same time, the number of corona cases in Karnali has reached 1663.

Also, 47 people have been discharged from various isolations in Karnali on Monday. At the same time, the number of people discharged in Karnali has reached 1455. Now there are 202 people in isolation and 6 people have died.
