Different Place In Nepal There were 16 incidents in one day, 10 people were killed

Kathmandu: There have been 16 disasters in the last 24 hours. In which ten people have died. It is estimated that property worth Rs 12,500 was destroyed in one day.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the biggest incident was a landslide in Kedarsyu village of Bajhang district. The bodies of six of the missing have been found in the landslide. Another is still being sought. Similarly, one person has been killed in a landslide in Sindhupalchowk district.


Eighteen families in Bajhang have been kept in school after a landslide swept away their houses. It was difficult to reach the rescue team as the river on the way to the village was flooded and it was raining. NEA chief Anil Pokharel said that it was difficult to bring relief and additional rescue team in the helicopter even though the local rescue team started working at noon.

Similarly, one person was killed and seven lakh rupees worth of property was damaged in a landslide in Sindhupalchowk district. The landslide in Gulmi also caused physical damage to two cowsheds and four-wheelers.

Three die in one day from snake bites

Three people died of snake bites on Saturday. According to NEA, two people died of snake bites in Siraha and one in Dhanusha. The deceased have been identified as two girls from Siraha and one boy from Dhanusha. A person from Nuwakot who was bitten by a snake is undergoing treatment.

Fires in four places

Despite the rainy season, fires in various places have caused physical damage. The fire broke out at four places in Khotang, Morang, Dolpa and Bhaktapur.

Meanwhile, a person has been injured in a lightning strike at Hetauda in Makwanpur district.

Floods in Pyuthan and Kailali

Floods have damaged a concrete bridge under construction in Naubahini Gaonpalika-6, Lakhchaur of Pyuthan district. Due to which 4 million has been lost. Similarly, Bardagoria ward no. Twelve houses have been inundated in Baskoti due to sudden floods. A house has been washed away by the flood of Kadha river in Joshipur village municipality of Kailali district.
