A search and rescue operation is underway in the Atlantic Ocean for a small submarine that went missing while taking tourists to the wreckage of the Titanic. It's feared the vessel could be trapped at the depth of nearly four kilometers. Rescuers believe it has enough oxygen to keep its pilot and four passengers alive for three more days.
US and Canadian ships and planes are leading a rescue operation deep in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean looking for a submersible vessel carrying five people that went missing while taking tourists to explore the wreckage of the Titanic – nearly 4,000 metres below sea level. The US Coast Guard says they were alerted by the operator of the craft on Sunday, after it failed to check in on time. They immediately launched a search, but haven't found it yet.
