Tanahun District Court has summoned singer Durgest Thapa for a written statement in the paul shah case. After minor modified her statement, the case has taken a new turn. Today’s video explains about the reason how and why the singer changed her statement.
While giving her statement in court, the girl stated that she had not been raped as she had alleged previously. The kid told the court that the information presented in the previous allegations was untrue, according to Min Bahadur Kunwar, a court officer.
On Monday, the girl’s parents are due to give their statements in court. The case will move forward based on her parents’ court declaration.
“I was not raped by Paul. “I filed the complaints after being provoked by others,” the girl said, according to Kunwar.
She also claimed that her previous comments to the police were untrue, according to Kunwar.
Shah allegedly raped the girl in Pokhara, Tanahun, and Gaidakot in the past, according to the girl’s police accusations. She had also filed a case against Shah with the Gaindakot Area Police Office in Nawalparasi.
On February 23, the girl’s father filed a complaint with the District Police Office in Tanahun, alleging that Shah had raped his daughter several times.
On February 27, the 32-year-old actor surrendered to the District Police Office in Tanahun and was taken into jail.
Shah was ordered to be held in judicial custody for investigation on March 24 by the district court. Since his arrest, Shah has been held in jail.
The District Attorney’s Office has filed a charge sheet against Shah in Tanahun District Court based on a police investigation, requesting a 12-14 year prison sentence and appropriate restitution from Shah. The plaintiff was a minor under the age of 16 at the time of the incident, according to the complaint.
