Germany. Tejendra Karki, a young militant who has been living in Hamburg, Germany for a long time, has announced his candidacy for the post of chairman of the Public Relations Committee of Germany.
Karki, who is adamant on the ideals and principles of the Nepali Congress, told Samajkhabar that he has announced his candidature for the post at the request of his friends. Election of the Public Relations Committee is being held on November 29. While living in Nepal, Karki was very active in party activities and social activities. Karki, who is always ready to help the non-resident Nepali campaign and the expatriate Nepalis in their problems, also expressed his confidence to move forward in a stronger way if given a new responsibility. Karki said that he has a short-term and long-term plan to strengthen the organization in Europe and work for Nepal and Nepalis together with the German Nepali community. Karki is a member of a family with a political background in Nepal. He is the brother of current communications minister and Congress leader Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
