Almutairi has signed an agreement with ANFA for 2024 !

Abdullah Almutairi has signed an agreement with the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to be the head coach of the Nepali national team until 2024.

At a press conference after the agreement, Abdullah also unveiled plans for 2022.  His first priority is to take Nepal to the third position in the third round of the Asian Cup qualifiers.
With the new agreement, Abdullah said he plans to work in football in three phases.  Preparation for the Asian Cup is the first priority.  He also said that he would play friendly with a strong team in the FIFA window and hold a training camp.
Abdullah said the plan was targeted at the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.  He will be paid by the Qatar Football Association.  But the internal expenses of living in Nepal will be paid by ANFA.  He said that he is still here for the development of Nepali football and plans to strengthen the women's U-19 team along with the national team.

Abdullah, who took Nepal to the final of the SAAF Championship for the first time, had earlier returned home saying that Nepal would not be defeated.  But he came to Nepal at the request of Qatar Football Association and ANFA.  He said that the love of the players and supporters forced him to return to Nepal.
