Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese, who was a guest last night at Che tempo che fa on Rai2, returned to talk about the regularization of immigrants, contained in the relaunch decree.
"The numbers are presumptive, we are talking about 200,000 people, we have the data of expired permits, this emergence concerns those who have been subjected to photodactyloscopic survey since 8 March 2020.
This is a first part, the possibility for employers to offer an employment contract or to bring out illegal work. The second lever is that of permits expired on 31 October and concerns the possibility for the individual citizen to apply for a temporary 6-month permit pending a contract in specific fields such as domestic workers, carers and field work - explained Lamorgese .
"I am used to seeing the glass half full and not half empty, this is a first step, since 9 years no such measure has been made, both connected to the health problem and from the point of view of safety" - concluded the minister .
